Today was tomorrow, yesterday!

 

The day has already come!  No, not the day I recieve a new job and go away and start working, but rather the day I recieve my first Invitation!  Technically, I have already recieved two..  And now I`m really exited, because I didn`t know it was going to be this easy!

 

Alas, I am probably not going to take these offers (although the one in Scotland was quite tempting!), since I really haven`t planned all that much yet.  I`m a slow poke. 

 

But HEY, I have recieved my first Invitations!  This is so cool!

Interlude..

You know what I like best about Blogger? The fact that I can decide beforehand when my posts are to be published! And what do I dislike the most? Well… the fact that I can’t scratch through my text (or what to call it), and it’s even more difficult to keep track of everything, more than I`m used to.

The Shamrock?

Okay, it`s time for honesty!  (I`m just kidding, I don`t even know what honesty is!)  My name here will be Tammy (it kinda sounds like Tammy, anyways..), and that`s all I`ll tell you of that matter for now!  I come from Norway, and I already got another (active) blog, and will probably not be very active with this one just yet.

The reason why I created this blog, writing in English and all, is because I am hoping to start working as an au pair this year! (2010).  I might travel, and I might even work with a family in another country! This is of course wishful thinking, but I do hope! It has happened before!

Wannabe au pair?

Og ikke sånn au pair som i ‘likestillt’, men sånn au pair som i ‘barnepasser’! Jeg har meldt meg inn i aupairworld, og håper jeg klarer å finne meg en familie å bo hos og hjelpe til! Det er kanskje best å begynne i hjemlandet, men jeg er ikke imot å dra utenlands..

Det vanskeligste blir nok å komme igang.. Først må man jo finne en familie som passer, og bli kjent med dem! Jeg håper det ikke er så skummelt som jeg tror, og at ting går glatt fra starten av! Barna er jo sjelden et problem, og selv kan jeg tilpasse meg de aller fleste situasjoner etter en uke eller to! Så det som gjenstår blir beliggenhet, tidspunkt og arbeidsoppgaver. Det er da ikke altfor ille?

Anywho…

Jeg har faktisk ikke søkt opp noen familier enda, ettersom min egen profil må godkjennes først. Jeg glemte å skrive et sånt ‘kjære familie’-brev, men fikk med noen få detaljer. Lurer på hvordan det fungerer når man blir godkjent? Jeg håper noen tar kontakt.
