Strikke-strikke…

Death to iPhone-blogging

Okay, so I`ve finally come to terms witht the fact that WordPress has died on my iPhone, and that I am quite unable to blog now.
(I can still use my computer, but that kinda defeats the purpose of a mobile picture blog.)
.
I have progressed in my knitting. I recently bought myself a batch of lovely, thick yarn of expensive goodness to play with, and… well.
I am now out of yarn during a holiday when everything is closed.
Yeah, I should be so lucky.

Dagens.

.
I mellomtiden, så lagde jeg denne her ikveld.
Den ble særdeles smal og mislykket.
Today`s..

‘Been reading Heart of Darkness for my curriculum today. Most boring book this year, this semester and this whole damn course! I nearly fell asleep twice, and that’s saying something, with me sitting in my chair knitting furiously! It usually takes hours for me to achieve this level of tiredness, but lo and behold! That damn book nearly did me in. At least I found the audio so I didn’t actually have to read it. That would‘ve killed me dead.
.
And I did get many hours worth of knit-work done..
Iz pretteh!
This is actually the back/inside.
I find it even more awesome than the front.

.
Var og henta Store-S på skolen med Lille-J idag.
Oooog ble ferdig med strikketøyet. It got violent.
Six down..

I’m lazy. I’ve got several pictures of the day I should post and write about, but I’ll rather just stay snug as a bug right here in my bed and not write anything at all.
But I’m also a hipocrite. (Is that have you write it?)
So here’s a picture of the legwarmer I finished today.
I’d also include a pic of the super-mega-awesome wristwarmer I’m already halfway(!!) through, but I love it too much to spoil it just yet.
Rip it up!

The other project is making me all pissy and mad, so I’m giving it some time off. I’d usually just rip it up mentally and leave it for the dust bunnies to devour, but since I’ve put SO much work into it already, I’ll try to finsh it later. Much much later.
In the meantime; I’m still loving the lice, and will finish this one!

But am I? Not rly.

This is the fantasy-yarn I stole from mummy dear. It’s incredibly soft and nice to work with, but a bit thinner than what I like to use.

Hoooo boy…
I’ve broken every record I didn’t know I had, and finished this beauty in less than 40 hours! (Including the hours sleeping (twice), eating and familytime.)
I’m so proud!! Seriously, this beautiful beauty is so prettiful!

The speed is up, but the progress moves slowly… All I’ve done today (or almost all) has revolved around those darn Cats. They are taking over my life!
Update 60 min later:

Here we go again…
Snow, snow and more snow. The fjords are freezing, and cars are taking the road straight over the ice instead of the ferrys. (Ferries?) I need to get out with my camera again.
In the meantime, the knitting is ON!
Two done, 999998 to go!

I kinda forgot to post pictures of the arm-warmer-thingy I finished some time ago. Here they are, tadaa! Now I think I’ll shall continue on the new legwarmer I started on today.
